Hello! Hello Reader!

We're on a weather rollercoaster at the moment. We've gone from flooding and constant rain, to sunshine, humidity and the smell of rooting fish as the river level drops. I love it! The place is green, our plants are flowering, the bird life is plentiful and the afternoon storms are amazing. (I'm also very grateful for air-conditioners!)

I've been doing a little bit of sewing in amongst everything and I'm getting closer to being ready to share what I've been working on. I just need to get myself psyched up to take all the photos. 😂 No idea why photographing blocks scares me these days, it used to be one of the highlights of my job. I think I've gotten so out of practice that it feels like starting over again. Does that happen to you?

100 Days 100 Blocks Pattern

The pattern that we'll be using for 100 Days 100 Blocks 2025 (kicks off 1 July) is "99 Problems: 100 Block Sampler Quilt". It's designed by me, yay! It's 100 of my all time favourite blocks in 3 sizes, 6", 12" and 24". Construction is mostly machine pieced with a little bit of Foundation Paper Piecing in there for some added ease and accuracy.
