Hello! Hello Reader!

I promise, it wasn't an April Fools joke! My intention was to get the pattern to you on 1 April, despite the pre-order information saying that the pattern would be available by 30 April. I wanted you to have it and be able to get started. Life had other plans.

The pattern is MASSIVE. It's the first time we've done a combined construction method pattern which has meant a whole truckload of work that we hadn't realised. Plus there's all the new unit techniques that I'll be teaching you that need to be covered in the pattern. It's just mammoth!

Shauna and I (and Kristy from Quiet Play) have been hustling to get it out in the world by 1 April, but unfortunately we've just not been able to get it finalised. Now, I could have sent out the first proof and then inundated you with updates as we fix things, but I don't want you to have to go through that. (Ain't no one got time for that!) So, we're holding it back while we get it finalised. (You'll still get it in April - we're just putting the finishing touches on it now!)

I hope you can forgive me and I hope it doesn't dull your excitement for the pattern. I promise, it's worth the wait! In fact, I'm so convinced that it's worth the wait that I want to give you a little sneak peek of what's coming in the pattern, even if you didn't order it:

So, that's my week. Lots of pattern tweaks and polishing. It's this last hurdle that makes you want to cry, but when it's done it's such a great feeling. I hope that your week is full of wonderful moments of joy.

Ok, this just amuses me and I had to share! Look at his little toosh. I have a very weird obsession with bananas (I have no idea why, I don't like to eat them, but I love them when they're on fabrics, home decor and more!)
