โœ‚๏ธ Stitch, Listen, Repeat: Your Weekly Patchwork Inspiration & Encouragement

It's here! It's here!

99 Problems is out in the wild and I'm so excited for you all to see it and start making it. It's been a HUGE effort and the pattern is something I'm really proud of. I've taken all the information, experience, questions and feedback from the previous patterns and made this one epic. You get 3 construction methods, all the how-to's, colouring pages, full fabric requirements and examples of each block made in different fabrics. I can't wait for 1 July and this year's 100 Days 100 Blocks to kick off!

Hello! Hello Reader!

I think I might have jinxed myself by calling my latest pattern "99 Problems". This past fortnight has been something else. 2 weeks ago we had a series of electrical storms which caused our power to go on and off a number of times. My poor iMac was already struggling with life in general, but the storm chaos just pushed her over the edge and into the abyss. She died rather unceremoniously and with her death she took all my emails, files and photos. Arrrrghhh!

Not a massive drama in this day and age of cloud computing, but now that we live in "regional" Australia getting a replacement was a bit of an exercise in hurry up and wait. But no complaining here - she arrived on Tuesday and now I'm in the process of getting everything set up and restored so I can get back to work.

In amongst all the technical difficulties Shauna and I were hustling to get the pattern done, which was finished yesterday and sent out to all the pre-order peeps. (If you pre-ordered THANK YOU so much for your faith and support - it means the world and has helped our little family greatly!) I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to have this pattern out. I'm really proud of it and I think Shauna and I have come up with a wonderful way of providing the information in a manner that makes it super easy for people to make the quilt AND keep motivated. We've broken the pattern into groups of 10 blocks so you just have to concentrate on making 10 at a time - not all 100! I've found it a great way to work personally and I'm excited to see if others do too.

I guess I'd better get back to trying to catch up on 2 weeks worth of emails and replying to everyone. I hope you have an amazing week filled with lots of creativity and excitement (the good kind!).

Will you pay a tariff?

The good news is, at the time of writing this, if you order from me, and the order is under $800, you will not pay a tariff to have it shipped into the United States. (Assuming you have no other items being imported on the same day. It's an $800 cap per day per person.) Digital products are exempt from all tariffs.

The other upside is that due to the financial market volatility at the moment the US dollar is stronger than the Aussie dollar so you'll get a really good exchange rate on purchasing from Australia. More fabric for less $$$!

๐Ÿ Queen Bee

Mother's Day is coming and what a great present for the quilter in your life! We all know they're Queen Bees! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Seriously though, how lovely is this! I was surfing Etsy for myself and found this and thought you might like it too.

100 Days 100 Blocks Kits

The quilt kits for 99 Problems are selling FAST. We've only got a handful of each of them left. If you want to secure yours before I open them up to the broader public, now is the chance. (I'm sewing with the kits now and they're amazing! You get enough fabric to fussy cut AND if you make a mistake you've got enough to cover it!)
